"A result of energetic imbalance between chakras is an almost continuous feeling of dissatisfaction. When the heart chakra is agitated, people lose touch with feelings and sensations, and that breeds the sense of dissatisfaction. That leads to looking outside for fulfillment." - Contemporary Buddhist teacher - Tarthang Tulku.
When I first learnt about the chakras and began practicing various visual exercises to balance the flow of energy in my body, in time there was a significant difference in the way I felt and in my ability to be more centered and calm in the midst of difficult situations.
I found this really cool test that will give you an idea of how active or inactive your chakras are: Test your Chakras !'
